Crimson Dark

After Zen is reunited with Theo, they return to Life Chest Manor. Their new life barely begins, however, when a Crimson Dark threat emerges to dash all hopes of happiness. Desperate to get Theo out of danger, Zen makes a rash decision that sets her on an unknown path—trapped in the Moroccan desert in the late 1200s. Zen and Theo's lives depend on whether the Z Team can rescue them before they—and the baby daughter Zen thinks to be dead—are lost forever.

In thirteenth-century Morocco, the Crimson Dark resurfaced in the form of a remnant led by a man named Damon. As keeper of the Crimson Dark history and its five laws, Damon was determined to regain the black sorcery held in the coins that Poseidon had seized at the resurrection of Atlantis. The only obstacle was an ancient prophecy that haunted Damon day and night. Connecting Zen and Theo to this prophecy through a vision, he vowed to time travel to their era, find and destroy them, and lead the Crimson Dark to new heights of evil.
